The Festival celebrates our very many stories from 5000 through to the World wars, exhibitions of costume, vehicles, arms and artefacts. Activities include archery, an hourly re enactment and gentle walk around the gardens and site. Talk to the actors and find out about their characters and their stories. Parking on site is free. There are toilets on site. Catering will be pulled pork. If the weather allows we should have an ice-cream van on site too. Admission is £4 per adult and £1 per under 16 years. Under 3s are free. The event is a charity fund raiser and community open day.
